Milwaukee 48-89-2723 Thunderbolt Black Oxide Drill Bit, 17/64 In.

The Milwaukee Thunderbolt black oxide jobber length drill bit is engineered for extreme durability and long life in demanding drilling applications. This 17/64-inch diameter bit is designed to drill through wood, metal, and PVC with precision and efficiency, making it an essential tool for general-purpose drilling on job sites and in the workshop. The black oxide surface reduces friction for cleaner cuts and requires less effort to penetrate materials, while the anti-corrosive coating protects against wear and extends bit life.

The Thunderbolt core features a thicker web than standard drill bits, providing ultimate strength and protection against side-load breakage—a critical advantage when working with portable and cordless drills. The parabolic flute form clears chips fast and efficiently. A precision-engineered 135-degree split point tip delivers a fast, accurate start with no walking, ensuring holes are drilled exactly where intended, even on curved surfaces. The 3-flat Secure-Grip shank holds the bit firmly in the drill chuck for reliable performance.
